Week in Review (Late) 1/28/13

Man am I behind, I like to try and wrap things up but I was just not on my A-game this week.

The Awakened final edit for my short came over to me and I am hoping the rest of the authors see them soon as well.  I asked for an idea of when we should expect to see the book, when I know so shall you.

Working on an off shoot of the same series as we speak, just in starting process for me, I tend to think through my stuff like a movie so I am really just starting out introducing the main characters in my head. I can tease that a logo is almost done and a cover is being worked on.

Board game #2 is one step further, so we are slowly getting there.

I just checked on when TLG thinks Bluffside for C&C will be out, hope to find that out soon.

Hotel for GenCon reserved, now for plane tickets and getting passes (the easy stuff).

What a great 24 hours....(game/writing related)

Since Monday AM I have:

Had a great business meeting about the future of a boardgame with Jim Pinto, it is really turning into something fun and different.

Got a logo for a offshoot of The Awakened series that I am 99% sure I will approve, thanks Jhoneil!

Had a great talk with artist Tony Szczudlo (of Birthright fame) about doing some work with me, and it is moving forward.

*sigh*
There are days when everything seems to turn out positive, today is one of these days!

Weekend in Review 1/20/13

Not much happened this weekend but today/tonight I hope to have a quick phone meeting about a piece of art to assist in getting the other The Awakened project off the ground and a meeting tonight online about a second boardgame Samurai Sheepdog is working on.

Playtesters have Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside for C&C as we put some final tweaks on it and get it ready for March 2013 in pdf format.

We are looking into what trouble to get into next...ideas?

Time Vampires

If I could slay one beast it would be the time vampire....
I play MMO's,watch TV, scan YouTube and they are my time vampires, they suck the hours away.
What others ones are out there?

Working On Another Logo Based on The Awakened!!

I am talking to a few publishers and spoke to most of the writers who wrote in the original, and I am working on a new Awakened logo, for a different theme within that setting, stay tune for more details!

Happy New Year!
I should have a few projects coming forward to attack your pocketbook.
We started a new company Samurai Sheepdog and will have some items get released through it.
A few pdf's for C&C, the first one will be released around March 1st and is Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside.
I will have the print version of Bluffside made for C&C by TLG themsleves.
I will have my anthology for the setting The Awakened released.  Authors to be announced soon.
A few other possibilities are board games, a children's book and hopefully more!
