Boardgame #2
Recently went over it with my co-designer and Doug Herring and I know I can not say much but it is really turning into a fun game, something different than anything we (Doug and I) have done before, I think we will be a lot closer to having some solid rules byt the middle of March.
Now to find an artist who fits the feel of the game and start getting this kid into playtesting. I hope to have this game on Kickstarter by the end of the year, but real life and all that.

Week in Review 2/25/13
2013 is cruising by very fast, lets see what we did/didn't get this week.
The Awakened Kickstarter should be in April, things are getting hammered out now, supporting this will get a limited run HC and the eBook as well, it will have some fun options as well, so I hope it does very well.
I am working on a convention module for C&C with Peter, who is our in house C&C guru, I am filling out his idea and helping a bit, it will be his baby, once con season is over we will probably put it up for sale on RPGNow.com.
Interludes is about a week away our first Samurai Sheepdog release.
Boardgame #1 is on hold until an artist can start working on some samples.
Boardgame #2 is looking for feedback and is still being looked at.
Bluffside for C&C "rough" cover came in and it looks great so far, very impressed with the cover artist.

What a Difference a Day Makes...
Looks like my new logo is done.
Had a nice meeting about the Kickstarter for The Awakened, seems like everyone is on board and on the same page and I hope to tell you more soon and hope to see it at some point in April.
Also got a spot online to put all the ideas for boardgame #2--thanks google docs!

Week in Review (early edition) 2/17/13-Updates
Let's do a round up:
So far I have been informed that both The Awakened and Bluffside for C&C will be out by August (GenCon) YEAH!
It appears The Awakened will be getting a Kickstarter to fund a hardbound edition and that should be in April/May!
Bluffside may also start as a Kickstarter I have no idea what the Trolls are up to but I offered help if needed.
I should have a final logo and a rough cover for the The Awakened off shoot this week!
Boardgame #1 is waiting for an artist to wrap up a current project and is in the playtest stage.
Boardgame #2 is still getting thought out and designed.
Children's book may have found an artist!
And more..... I thought it was a slow week until I typed this out.

I pledge a lot on Kickstarter, I like the deals and like the fact that I am helping people reach their goals and hope to be as fortunate when I start launching projects BUT this one looks brilliant.

Week in Review 2/11/13 (Disappointment)
Let's see:
Disappointment will be the trend for the most part this week.
Good stuff: Logo for alternate The Awakened anthologies is almost done, cover art is also being worked on (yes I am an optimist, when if comes to these books).
Other: Not a lot of communication going on for any of my projects, and I understand real life, real jobs etc....BUT I always keep people up to date and informed on statuses, it appears I may be in the minority.
When I know more about anything if you are involved expect an email, if it is something I can post, expect to see it, carry on, literally nothing to see here.
Oh and son is sick, so that throws a wrench into things as well BUT I still posted a week in review!!!

Samurai Sheepdog's First Release
Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside (C&C) will be released the first week of March in pdf format, this will be the first of 3-4 pdf's we will be doing converting 3rd party publishing books to Castle &Crusades, if sales do well look for an explanding library well thoughout the next few years!

Got a real nice quote from Bruce R. Cordell, author of Sword of the Gods and Plague of Spells for The Awakened anthology.
Working on Kickstarter #1 and #2, with Dark Quest Books and Samurai Sheepdog.
Working on timelines for Bluffside for C&C and The Awakened Anthology
Have a few other pots I am stirring as well.
What I could really use right now is a regular gaming group, I am itching to roll some dice!

This week has been great (book/game related)
Got some passes reserved for GenCon from TLG! If you are going I will see you there!
We are starting to work on some art for board game #1, which will also be Kickstarter #1 for us.
Board game #2 is starting to get some mechanics.
Logo and cover art has been started for the next anthology, a side adventure from The Awakened.
I just got the forward back from Matt "The writing machine" Forbeck and it was wonderful, I had to print it just so I could read it a second and third time.
Playtesting is in full force on pdf adventure Interludes, and the next pdf release is almost ready for playtesters....
Busy, busy, busy but man-oh so good!
